Whole day of soccer

I hadn't played soccer for a couple of months. Today is the day i refresh my soccer skills at my school's hockey pitch. The weather was slightly cloudy and the ground was wet. What a perfect time to do sliding tackles.
But seriously, i played like shit today. Long seng passed me a nice ball and barely touched it before it went out. He gave me a sacastic comment, "Nice one leslie".. Lol
It was frustrating when i kept losing the ball la.. After playing for a while, it was damn exhausting that i told Darren, "After mia in soccer for so long, we get punche faster"... Seriously, i feel like an old man playing soccer.

Beautiful Dream

There is just something about this speakers. "JBL Creature II" is an mysterious speaker that produces a different sound from other normal speakers.
Just now when i was having a nap, i plugged in my mp3 into this pair of speakers. And when you hear certain songs, it produces some kind of a sweet melodiuos clashing sound that is very pleasant to the ears. Even though i was sleeping, the music was so sweet that i start to enter a different world, while building blocks of gems in my head. And when i woke up, i feel very refreshed after hearing to that melodious clashing sound. It was a wonderful lullaby.

Burn all your money
I walked into Kinokuniya in Bugis and i stumble across an interesting book. The cover was plain. Just a young guy, same age as me sitting on top of a broken down bus with his hiking equipments, staring blankly at the sky and said, "
I donated $25,000 of my money to charity, burn all my cash in my wallet and hitchhike to Alaska to enter the woods. "
This guy is willing to sacrifice every single possession of his, but his intentions were not made clear of. What is he trying to do? After a journalist found his bones near the woods, he decided to write a full-fledged article on him.. Some say this arrogant guy is trying to attract attention, some say that he touched them with his determination to live a life different from everyone..
What about you leslie?.. Me? i would never had burned away my money.. No way, why throw away all the hard work. Using money to work for me is what i intend to do. Living a life different from others is glorious, but i ain't someone like him. But i find him the most interesting being on earth..
But i wonder will any of my friend be like him?? hmmm.....

Help people and receive help in return
.jpg)
Do people seek help all the time? The answer is yes. People do seek help all the time. Help them and receive help in return..
Ever heard of the Lion and the rat story.. The lion caught the rat because he was hungry, the rat pleaded him to release him. It was a hard decision. The lion was hungry, and thought, "How could this small tiny little feather help me when i am in trouble?" The lion was relunctant, but in the end he released the rat.
Then one day, a hunter came and shoot a huge net over the lion while he was asleep.. The rat saw and he brought along his friends to bit away the net...
This is how the lion was saved
You never know when you are going to need someone's help no matter how helpless he or she is..
So next time if someone ever come to help, please don't say no..

Things won't go the way you say it
.jpg)
During the beginning of World war 2, many countries urged the United States to join in the war for the alliances againest the Axis.
However, the never wanted to be involve in the war. The claim they want no involvement in conflict.
Things won't go the way the want it to be. Morning of December 7, 1941, hundreds of Japanese airplanes bombed pearl harbour with the intention to bring America to war. Taking them by surprise, the Americans were unprepared and defenseless againest this attack.
In reality, when you say you don't want to do something, doesn't really means you won't do it. Or you don't want something to happen.
The most probability that things will happen is when you don't expect them to happen. What a wierd world it is.

The Little Things
Recently, i get to read a very interesting psychology book called "The Tipping Point". The interesting wonders of how small things can cause big changes and great influences. The tipping point shows us how trends are started the the powerful marketing using the word of mouth.
The first type of person i am most interested are
Connectors. They are the people that connects people together and they are extremely sociable with the mass amounts of contacts they keep. They don't mind having lots of friends, though the ties aren't very strong.
Surveys were made on how people look for jobs through their friends, buddies and found out that most of the people find their jobs through friends which have weak ties. People that they are not close to.
This shows the power of weak ties, though the people may not see the things you do within your circle, and thus are able to find a certain way to connect with one another. Weak ties, seemed like a very small issue can however be a very useful way to find opportunities.
Anyway yesterday was my class's xiaoZhu's birthday... Happy birthday to you..

Bad day
What a bad day today.. Was suppose to meet up a customer from yahoo to sell a shoe. I rushed all the way from city hall to Raffles, and after trying, she said that she coudln't wear and rushed off in an instant. I gad to bring the shoes back to city hall.. It's tough luck
Have you ever wondered why you always have bad days and no good days?
Always rushing to work or help a friend in need and doing things for other people without any pay back.. And not being able to enjoy your own hobby.. Everytime things crop up just to give you even more trouble.. You just seem to be full of troubles of your own..
Nobody helps you out when you are in need.. You help others when they are in need.. Its a helpless world..

Well, it was a great experience.. but is not something that i enjoy, rather i fear it..

Finally skating again
Yea... finally begin skating today.. Teck woon, Bryan and his friend Wyman..
We went to bedok jetty and enjoyed the wonderful breeze.. Remind me of the wonderful skating times back then.. I did my dangerous hockey slide by the jetty but i wasn't as daring as before to go with full speed.. My spins were memorable... i could spin many rounds back then..
I learned my first skill on a rainy day with teck woon and he taught me powerslide..
Graham was a very patient teacher... He was my best slalom teacher back then..
Second was teck woon..
We practiced slalom, and joined the competition together as Zigzagueur...
